Literally, My Friend.

In case you are wondering, I am working fast & furiously to fulfill ALL 191 jewelry requests that I received weeks ago.  It’s a long, slow day when I can only anneal 20 beads…and even slower when only half of those beads can be used for earrings.  I know what you’re thinking…and you’re right.  I can’t really help that I am so Type A about my stuff…but you know, it is my art.  Yes, I do consider it art since no one else in the entire world has what I have just made…it is art because I am pouring myself into it, literally.  (Please go back reread that ‘literally’ with the British accent that I intended)  It’s art because isn’t cool if it is?

So…please be patient.  I have not forgotten you.

Eye candy galore! These pieces are from my mother’s prized collection of venetian glass.  I persuaded her to let me do something with them and she finally consented.  I usually hate the oppresive look of monotony and organized order, so to speak but these pieces seemed fluid lying gently next to each other. Enjoy!

It’s Official! The Marathon is Over…181 Requests Later! :D

Yep, 181 requests for jewels.  Actually, I am stunned and overwhelmed but very proud. I know the work will be time intensive as I am now going to fire and anneal each and every bead but this is so much more than work….this is love.  I love spending time at my torch and creating something unique and funky from nothing…making something that cannot be replicated elsewhere…now I have 362 reasons to do just that.  (181 x 2) :D

I will work diligently but I will not work faster or cut corners to get this done.  I will send jewelry out in the order it was requested.  I will email you when your package ships.

Stay tuned!  Pics of current work to follow soon! Bracelet drawing the second week of November!
